Sorry folks for the recent lack of a Message Board - it is entirely my fault and I shall try to sort it as soon as possible, Mick.

WELCOME

Welcome to our TGS site which has been set up to give Old Thornburians a focus for their nostalgia.

Thanks to our many contributors it is developing into a very general site to appeal to all ages who attended the school (including staff!).

We hope that you enjoy browsing the contents, and welcome all contributions.

Mick Munns and David Webb

NEW

Do look at a new selection of photographs from the 1940s, a very under-represented era, courtesy of Pat Ward.

David Price has kindly filled a huge gap for us. The 1950 panoramic school photograph is now available.

A huge batch of interesting photographs of pupils from the early 70s have arrived, courtesy of Chris Broadbent.
